🏕️ What is POTA?

Parks on the Air — operators activate parks, wildlife refuges, and protected lands by making at least 10 contacts. Hunters call activators to log a contact. Over 8,000 parks across 70+ entities worldwide. Free to participate. pota.app

⛰️ What is SOTA?

Summits on the Air — operators activate designated mountain summits to earn points based on summit elevation. Both activators and chasers earn points. Over 150,000 summits across 100+ associations worldwide. sota.org.uk

📻 How to Hunt

See a spot? Tune to the listed frequency, listen for the activator calling CQ POTA or CQ SOTA. Give your callsign when they pause. They need contacts — you need the park or summit. Keep it short: callsign, signal report, done. Log on QRZ or LOTW as usual.
